When trying to get in shape you have to realize that you did not become out of shape over night, so it will not change over night. However, if you make working out and fitness a regular routine every day and you are consistent every day it will change fast.

When we say consistency, we mean being dedicated every day to a healthy eating plan. A healthy eating plan consisting of good, lean proteins, healthy complex carbs, and healthy fats. We mean consistently drinking lots of water daily and avoiding sugary drinks and alcohol while trying to get in shape.

We also mean being consistent with a workout consisting of weight and/or resistance training and cardio daily. You can even change up your workouts and do cardio 3 or 4 days a week and do weight training the other days, while giving yourself a couple of days off in between to recover and allow your body to repair itself and get you in better shape.

You can start a simple weight training routine to help tighten, tone and build muscle. This is important and will not make you bulky ladies! These types of exercise shape your body by toning, building and shaping muscle.

Just keep in mind though, when you begin working out, you will build muscle and muscle is denser than fat, so you may not see much change on the scale, but you should see it in your clothes and how they fit as you lose inches.
